Suvenirnica DAD is a workshop and a shop under one roof, in Nikšić. Everything we sell, we made ourselves: from the first sketch to the ribbon on the box.

What inspires us

Mountains, lakes and tradition

Our sign grew out of three things: the mountains around Nikšić, the golden spirals on women's waistcoats and the red cross-stitch of old embroidery.

We put Durmitor, the Tara, Biogradska Gora and Nikšić on magnets and mugs, the cap and the coat of arms on souvenirs to take home, and we engrave names and messages into wood. Every piece is made here, from sketch to packaging.

Process

From thread to gift

Every piece goes through the same four steps and the same hands.

  1. Sketch of a motif in a notebook and on a tablet
    First

    Idea

    We draw the motif and prepare the text, name or photo for your piece.

  2. A laser cutting a wooden heart, embroidery and a mug with a motif

    Making

    We cut and engrave wood, print magnets and mugs, embroider and assemble.

    Finishing

    We sand the edges, paint, varnish and check every single piece.

    Wrapping

    A box, a burgundy ribbon and a handwritten card. Ready for you or as a gift.

Only what we make

We don't resell. If a piece was not made on our workbench, it is not on our shelf.

Patterns have origins

We make the cap, the coat of arms and the gusle with respect for the original. We don't invent folklore.

Made to last

Thick wood, durable print and sturdy packaging. A souvenir should outlive the trip home.
